FAQ:
What is a CSA? — CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. By becoming a member, you are investing in our farm and in return you will receive a reserved share of our harvest. Being a member of a CSA program helps you eat seasonally and locally, and it cultivates a connection between you and the farmers who are growing your food.
What happens if I cannot pickup my share or miss a pickup? – We have several options! Let us know 24 hours in advance and we can make arrangements for you to pickup your share on a different day. You can also send a friend to pickup your share for you or gift the share to a friend so they can experience eating seasonally and locally. You can also choose to donate a week’s share to a local family in need. We have a standing relationship with a local organization and if you miss a pickup and we do not hear from you, we will make sure it goes to a local family in need.
What are the benefits and risks of a CSA share? - CSA members share the risks and rewards of the growing season with the farm. We were fortunate that during the previous growing season our yields were plentiful, and we were able to pass that on to our customers. Of course, major weather related events could really set us back. Each year, certain crops do better than others. We overcome the variability of the weather by planting multiple plantings of different varieties of dozens of crops. All CSA Members must be aware that the weather, over which we have no control, plays a major part in our production. Therefore, we may not have available, at all times, the vegetables and/or fruit on the distribution list. We will substitute appropriate vegetables accordingly.

By purchasing a farm share you are committing to the selected share and stating that you have read the above information and agree to pickup your share. If you miss a week and do not make advance arrangements with the farm your share will be donated to a local family in need. Once a share is purchased we are unable to provide a refund as we purchase seeds and supplies for the growing season far in advance to ensure we can accommodate all of our CSA members. Shares may start out smaller in size and increase and we reach peak harvest for different items. We want to ensure that you are satisfied with your share so if you have a concern, please let us know so we can make it right.
